Frame Public Testnet V1 Potential Reward a Tokens

The frame testnet is now available to everyone! Users can now accumulate funds, wander through the block explorer, and create NFTs on our testnet. To celebrate this milestone, the developer has opened the first mission so that users can experience Frame for the first time. Future missions will highlight Frame’s features, educate users on security best practices, and showcase our amazing partnerships.

Frame is an Ethereum rollup Rollups are a layer-2 scaling solution built on top of Ethereum
. Frame is EVM compatible, which means you can do anything on Frame that you would be able to do on the Ethereum mainnet – deploy contracts, use Web3 applications, interact with wallets, etc. faster compared to Ethereum. Frame is an optimistic rollup, meaning it inherits many of Ethereum’s security properties.

How to start testing:

Make sure you have a browser on your device that supports metamask or wallet connection and has the ETH Sepolia testbed enabled to continue this testnet.

Requirements:

• Claim Tap Testnet
• Bridge of at least 0.01 ETH Sepolia to ETH Frame Testnet
• Claim and write 1 NFT on the official NFT smart contract
• Claim Your Completed BADGE Testnet Mission

Let’s get started

1. Claim Tap Testnet

• Open https://faucet.triangleplatform.com/frame/testnet
• Submit your ETH address and request 0.0001 ETH Frame Testnet
• Claim ETH Faucet in Sepolia HERE or HERE

2. Bridge Sepolia for framing

• Open https://www.frame.xyz/bridge
• Connect to the Sepolia Testnet network (changed automatically)
• Choose ‘Deposit’ and send at least 0.01 ETH Sepolia to frame
• Confirm the transaction on your Metamask to continue

Wait for the transaction to complete after confirmation in L1 and it may take at least 3-5 minutes to complete. You can close and exit the page.

3. Claim and write NFT

• Open the page below with the ‘Frame Testnet‘ network

• Connect your Metamask wallet in Step 1 (photos)
• Click on ‘2. mintCommemorativeNFT’ > Input Quantity: 1
• Click ‘Write’ and then Confirm Transaction

Once you’ve successfully minted an NFT, you’ll see an inscription as shown above, which reads ‘The transaction has been confirmed. View transaction details‘.

4. Badge Claim Mission

To claim the first badge, you’ll need to accumulate at least 0.001 Sepolia ETH. Once your deposit is successful, you will be able to claim your badge.

• Go to the Quest homepage https://www.frame.xyz/quests
• Tap on ‘Bridge to Frame (Testnet)‘ and ‘Mint Your First NFT‘
• Click on ‘Claim Badge‘ and confirm the throughput on the Frame Testnet

You can see a list of all the NFTs (including badges) you own on your profile page. You’ll also see the XP you’ve earned here. If you have any issues with the quest, bridge, or block explorer, please open a ticket on the Discord server (https://discord.com/invite/framexyz).
