1: Add Testnet mode to MetaMask

• We have to do this manually, so go to: https://docs.mode.network/build-on-mode/network-information

• You’ll find network information, so add to metamask

Step 2: Faucet

• We need ETH Sepolia, so take a few:
• 1-  https://faucet.quicknode.com/ethereum/sepolia
• 2-  https://www.infura.io/faucet/sepolia

• Go to the bridge website and connect your MetaMask: https://bridge.mode.network

• Send some ETH from Sepolia to Testnet mode

• Switch to the Mode Testnet network

• Here, you can show your available ETH balance in testnet mode as 0.00, but no problem, it’s probably a bug.

• You can check your balance in MetaMask before and after, as well as check the status of the bridge transaction in MetaMask.

• Make multiple transactions

Step 3: Deploy a smart contract on Thirdweb

• Go to: https://thirdweb.com/dashboard/contracts
• Connect your wallet in Mode Testnet
• Click “Deploy Agreement”

• I’ll go with the “NFT Drop”, but you can choose any of the deployed contracts; The instructions are almost the same.

• Follow the ones shown below

• Define a name
• Image and description are descriptive

• Scroll down and click “Deploy Now”

• You need to perform 2 transactions in your wallet.

• This is enough for this, but if you want to fully deploy an NFT in Testnet mode, follow as shown below.

• I created 350 NFTs completely in Testnet mode

• Now go to “Claim Conditions” and set some conditions

• That’s it, you can check my collection and Mint 1 for each wallet: HERE in Testnet Network mode

4: Mode domain

• Go to: https://modedomains.xyz
• Connect your wallet
• Enter the name you want to register

• Registration

• Done

• This seems to be crucial in testnet mode, as I believe you will only be able to get one domain. So, prove yourself not to miss the chance.
