As the Vara Network advances in its mission, here are important updates regarding the airdrop and its role in the decentralized ecosystem.

Vara Claim Interface is Live

Gear Foundation has crafted a bespoke website meticulously designed to simplify airdrop claims. This dynamic platform places user-friendliness at the forefront, ensuring every community member can effortlessly receive their VARA tokens.

Airdrop Allocation and distribution stages

At the heart of Vara’s decentralized strategy lies community network participation. Seven percent of the token economy will encourage community participation through the airdrop program. 1% of the airdrop has been set aside exclusively for early adopters from the total 7% airdrop pool mentioned in Vara Network’s tokenomics report. This will be allocated over an extended time period to encourage education and on-chain learning activities.

This airdrop pool will serve various purposes, contributing to the long-term sustainability of the Vara community and project.

The 1% will be distributed accordingly:

Stage One:

Here, the spotlight shines on those who’ve been active Vara champions from day one. It’s a stage for early adopters with NFTs, Vara ambassadorship and any of those who participated in previous events that could qualify you for airdrop as an early adopter.

Stage Two:

This one’s for the tech-savvy members running community nodes. For two years the Vara community has taken intermittent snapshots of node runners. You can claim the airdrop if your node appears a minimum of twice in distinct snapshots.

Stage Three:

Exclusive to incentivized testnet participants.

All airdrop claims require KYC verification. Gear Foundation uses a third party for KYC who will be processing your personal information.

Vara Community’s decentralized nature permeates through every facet of its operation. The meticulous design of thoughtful airdrop allocation exemplifies Gear Foundation’s dedication to transparency, fairness and an inclusive community.

Several criteria could potentially disqualify you from participating in the Vara airdrop:

• You have been running a node, but the node does not meet the requisite criteria of appearing more than 2 times in node snapshots, you may not be eligible for this stage of the airdrop.
• Submitting multiple claims using false or duplicate information to increase your chances of receiving a larger airdrop allocation could result in disqualification.
• You participated in the events from which you already won USDC prizes or cannot provide sufficient proof of ownership or participation in the Vara Network activities.
• If you fail to complete this verification process or do not meet the KYC requirements. It’s important to ensure that you meet the specific criteria outlined for each stage of the airdrop and adhere to the KYC requirements to maintain eligibility for your airdrop allocation.
• If you engage in activities that violate the community guidelines or terms of service of any Gear Foundation programs, you may be disqualified from the airdrop. Such activities could include spamming, harassment, or any other behavior deemed detrimental to the community.
